Room Rental Policy
Reservation Guarantee Policy
Sandbar Motor Inn requires that all reservations be guaranteed by a valid credit card number and expiry date at the time of booking. Credit card numbers will not be charged prior to arrival*; it will only be used to secure the reservation. Payment for the room with a valid credit card will be required upon check-in. Guaranteed reservations must be cancelled 24 hours in advance (before 6:00 p.m. local time the day prior to arrival) on day of check-in or earlier, otherwise a charge will be processed to the credit card in the amount of the first night guest room rate plus taxes.
Please Note: Sandbar Motor Inn is pleased to offer a SMOKE-FREE environment for our guests. All venues including all guest rooms are designated as NON-SMOKING areas.
Check In, Check Out Time
Check-in time is guaranteed for anytime after 3:00 PM, checkout time is 11:00 AM. An early check-in time and/or a late checkout can be requested by calling the hotel directly, and speaking with the manager.
Reservations should be cancelled/changed at least 24 hours prior to your arrival. We will consider weather and other uncontrollable circumstances should your plans be hindered by these circumstances.
Reservation “No Show” Charge
Sandbar Motor Inn will charge one night’s room and taxes to the credit card on file at the booked rate for any reservations that fail to check-in to the hotel on the scheduled arrival date, and have not been cancelled/changed by the guest at least 24 hours prior to the arrival date. If you can provide a cancellation number issued by the hotel or website booking, we will reverse the charges.
Out of respect for our individual guests, Sandbar Motor Inn enforces a “quiet-time” policy at our hotels between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 am as per the RM of St Clements noise regulation. Guests who do not observe our “quiet-time policy” may be asked to leave or denied guest room reservations. Should a guest room be asked to leave the hotel, the cost of the guest room and deposit will not be refunded to the evicted guests.
Damage Discovered After You Have Checked-Out
Guest Rooms found with waste strewn around, in complete disorder, and/or “trashed” will be subject to maintenance deep cleaning fee, administration fee and/or third party fees.
Damage to Room
Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishing and equipment including the removal of electronic equipment, towels, art work, etc. will be charge at 125% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges. Any damage to hotel property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.
Damage to the Mattresses and/or Bedding
Damage to mattresses and linen including; towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, blankets resulting from the use of body oils, make-up, shoe-polish, etc. will result in a charge for the special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article.
